Report An Absence

AbsenCE from school 

If your child will be absent from school, please contact Teresa Morley by emailing wickliffeattendance@uaschools.org. If you are emailing your child's teacher regarding attendance, simply copy wickliffeattendance - no need to send separate emails.

Medically excused absence

If your child visits a doctor, dentist etc., please scan/email or fax (614-487-5047) your excuse so we can note a medically excused absence.

Planned absence

For planned absences, you will need to complete the planned absence form found here. These forms should be submitted at least 5 days prior to the absence whenever possible.

Please note: if you are leaving the state of Ohio, please check to see if your destination is on Ohio's COVID-19 Travel Advisory list:

• People traveling to these states must quarantine for 14 days upon their return home.
• This list is updated every Wednesday.
• If the state you have traveled to is added to the list while you are there your child will need to quarantine for 14 days before returning to school.
• The list of states can be found at: https://coronavirus.ohio.gov/wps/portal/gov/covid-19/families-and-individuals/COVID-19-Travel-Advisory/ 

If you are planning to travel outside the country, please check here for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations by country.
