Here's the menu for week 4. All orders include 1 entree, 2 sides and a house salad. A half order is about the right amount for a family of 4 with no leftovers. 

• To order: place your order before NOON on Friday February 19th. Order online using this link (please check you are ordering from the Wickliffe menu), and Steven's Catering will call you to confirm payment information. Or order by phone on 614-486-1221.
• Pick up: your week 4 meal on Wednesday, February 24th between 5pm and 6pm, at Wickliffe. Drive thru the bus loop to pick up your meal kit. Heat, serve and enjoy!

We want to show the teachers and staff at Wickliffe how much we appreciate all of their hard work and support during the school year! We invite you to sign up and adopt a teacher or staff member for either a month or for the rest of the school year. Up to 3 families can sign up to adopt the same teacher/staff member. 

During the time you have adopted the teacher/staff member let them know that you are thinking about them! Send them encouraging e-mails, mail them a card, drop off a small treat at the Front Office, etc. 

You do not need to spend a lot of money adopting the teacher/staff member just let them know you and your family are thinking about them and are thankful for all of the hard work!

There is currently no charge for elementary students to buy school lunch through the end of the school year due to a USDA National Waiver.

• IN-SCHOOL: To pre-order meals from Nutritional Services on the days your student is in school, please click here to make your selection, orders need to be placed by 10pm one day in advance. The lunches are delivered to the classrooms.

• REMOTE: Multi-day meal packs are available for pick up for any student learning remotely (at home days in the school-based pathway and students in the Online Academy). Families must request a weekly meal pack for their student:

Meals are available for pick up on Wednesdays for all students.
The week of Feb 8, meal pickup is Wednesday 17th at 11:45am - 12:30pm, at Wickliffe.

Please note: if you cannot make that time slot, the PTO would like to help by bringing your child's meal pack to you - please reach out to us (wickliffepto@gmail.com) and we will work with you to drop off the meal to your house.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR: The Spring Flower Sale starts on March 23rd! We can order the amazing plants from Foertmeyer and support our school, when we return from spring break. Flower pickup is scheduled for May 13, 2021 at the old Macy’s building. All the details coming soon!

With March around the corner, the counseling team is preparing for our spring lunch groups. We are in the process of doing “minute meetings” with every child to check-in and see how they are doing. This information will inform our decisions for our upcoming groups.

Thank you to the small (but mighty) group of adults who were able to join Angela and me for our Parent Coffee last week about helping your children navigate friendships through technology.

As I was preparing for our coffee, I attended a virtual presentation with Max Stossel, an Award-Winning Poet/Storyteller and the Youth & Education Advisor for the Center for Humane Technology. The Center for Humane Technology is an organization of former tech insiders dedicated to realigning technology with humanity's best interests. 

I wanted to pass along some resources that Max provided during his presentation. They are on my spring break reading/ viewing list. As always, I welcome your thoughts and questions as we continue to work together to enhance our children’s digital wellbeing.
