Square 1 Art reminder!

• Online Academy Families:if your child is participating in square one art, forms will need to be turned into the Wickliffe office by November 10 or you can contact Dawn Hofherr at dawn.kuritz@gmail.com.

• Hybrid students are completing their forms at school.
• Online Academy students received their Square 1 Art form and instructions in their take home materials. If you didn’t receive one or need a new one, they are available in the office.  All forms need to be completed by November 10. 
• Once submitted to Square 1 Art, students' art will be printed on stickers and delivered to the school. Families will then have the option to purchase products with their child's artwork. 

SNACK SIGN-UP:  We have added dates for November and December to our teacher appreciation snack sign-up genius. 

Thank you to all who have donated snacks and drinks for the teachers and staff members. The teachers and staff real enjoy and appreciate the treats and drinks! We need your help to keep it going! If you would like to contribute individual prepackaged food and drinks, our amazing teachers would really appreciate it. 

Requested items include: candy, chips, cookies, nuts, trailmix, soda, San Pellegrino flavored water, La Croix, cold brew coffee.

Thank you to everyone who came out this weekend to help paint the castle park fence. You all are amazing! The fence looks better than it has for years and will hold up through the upcoming winter months. We are so appreciative of your help!

• Parent Coffees: Thanks to those of you who were able to join us this past Sunday evening for our first parent coffee. It was great to celebrate your parenting successes during this pandemic. And it was helpful to think more deeply about what parents as co-educators means during COVID. Our December Zoom will be on Sunday evening, December 6th, from 6:15 to 7:15 https://zoom.us/j/7191866057. We will be exploring ways to navigate the holidays during these ever changing times. We are committed to staying connected with our families. 

• Online Academy MeetUp- It was great to see so many families this past Sunday. In anticipation of the weather changing, we will continue to find creative ways for our OA learners to get together. As always, I welcome any ideas or suggestions.

As the time changed and the days are getting shorter, we are still navigating this pandemic (with just a little less daylight!). These changes have created disrupted sleep for many of our children and some of us, as well.

This article entitled, Guide to Good Sleep, was written in conjunction with Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s campaign, On Our Sleeves. As many of you know, this is a movement to transform children's mental health through education, advocacy and research. Since kids don't wear their mental health on their sleeves, there is an unprecedented need for evidence-informed resources and support for children.
