Wickliffe PTO's After School Discovery enrichment program will be starting up again soon! For those of you new to WIckliffe, the After School Discovery program lets K-5 students explore diverse interests through fun extracurricular courses like dance, fashion, robotics, yoga, chess, basketball, and more! After School Discovery has been a huge success in the past because of the amazing support from our Wickliffe community, including school staff, families, and local businesses. Look for a flyer coming home in your child's backpack next week. It will have dates, course listings, fees, etc. We are looking forward to another exciting year!

We are officially kicking off our 2022-2023 Cub Scout year!  We welcome all students interested in Scouting from K-5.

You may have seen our flyer posted in the Families of Wickliffe Progressive Elementary Facebook page. Our first Pack meeting will be September 7 where we will be welcoming new Scouts, earning our Bobcat badge, and learning more about our annual popcorn sale (with samples to taste!). We will be meeting the first Wednesday of the month from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church (2070 Ridgecliff Rd.). Please invite any friends who might be interested in Scouting!

Fun Run

Wickliffe Social (formerly Informal Affair)
The committee for the Wickliffe Social is holding its first meeting on Tuesday, September 6, at 7:30 p.m. at the school. We are looking for more committee members to help plan this November's adult-only fundraising event. After School Discovery (ASD)
This committee works throughout the year to provide after-school enrichment classes/programs for our K-5 students. There are fall, winter, and spring ASD sessions and this committee is looking for more volunteers to help make this amazing offering continue smoothly throughout the year. Your student should've received a catalog last week to pass along to you... and check your email for your student’s web sale code. You can share this link with your friends and family so they can purchase their flowers online!  

The fall mum sale was a huge success last year and enabled us to provide teacher grants for all of our teachers and staff. Let’s do it again this year!

Hello, families! 

Please see my video here greeting you and introducing myself. 

We had a great first week at Wickliffe. I was able to meet many of your children out on the playground and in their classrooms. There was much joy to be found! My focus this past week has been assisting with Guided Recess - a routine we are implementing to help students learn how to have safe and kind bodies on the playground. 

This upcoming week, I am starting classroom lessons! The first lesson will be introducing myself and the role of a school counselor, to include important information like how to find me in the building and all the ways I can support the students. 

We will start formulating a plan for student lunch groups in September based on what needs are arising from kids.
